Nominate Someone for Rector or Rectoress

  To be eligible to serve as a Northern Michigan DeColores Rector or Rectoress, a nominee must:

• Have completed at least three (3) DeColores Weekends as a team member, or completed at least two (2) DeColores Weekends and one (1) substantially similar weekend in the Cursillo tradition as a team member
• Have been a Rollista on a DeColores Weekend
• Have been a coordinator on a DeColores Weekend or completed a Fourth Day (Leader Training) Workshop
• Have been a member of the Northern Michigan DeColores community for at least three (3) years at the time of nomination
• Be a person whose life typically exemplifies the DeColores Ministry
• Shall not have served previously as a Rector or Rectoress within the preceding seven (7) years, provided that this rule shall not apply to the selection of a Rector or Rectoress for a prison or travel weekend
• Exceptions to the above requirements can be made by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Secretariat​

A member of the Northern Michigan DeColores Community must write a nominating letter which recommends the eligible person for the position and submit it to the Secretariat Board (c/o the President Couple) via email  [email protected] or [email protected]  or mail to:

The nominated person must complete the Rector/Rectoress Questionnaire and must submit it to the Secretariat (c/o the President Couple) for consideration.  Complete the form Online or Print & Mail the form to the address above.
